I’m delighted to share some lovely news! Carly Tong Garden Design is now a member of The List by House & Garden, and my studio is featured in the newly published 2027 Directory.
Receiving my copy and seeing my garden design work in print was a particularly special moment. As an independent garden designer based in Balsall Common, it’s wonderful to be included alongside such a talented collection of designers and creative studios.

GARDEN DESIGN WITH PLANTING AT ITS HEART
My approach to garden design has always been about creating outdoor spaces that feel personal, beautiful and connected to the people who use them.
With a background in textile design, I’ve always been drawn to colour, texture and composition. These influences continue to shape my work today, particularly through planting, where different combinations of foliage, flowers and seasonal interest can completely transform the character of a garden.
Whether I’m designing a garden locally or working with clients across the UK through my virtual garden design service, the aim remains the same: to create a space that feels right for its setting and the people who will enjoy it.
