About the project
A modern, calm, inviting family garden
This garden was designed to link a family home with the surrounding countryside. The layout combines simple structure with natural planting to create a space that feels modern, calm and inviting. Soft borders of perennials and grasses add movement and colour throughout the year.
An outdoor dining area sits beneath a timber pergola surrounded by layered planting, creating a sheltered place to spend time outside. A cut flower garden adds seasonal interest and space for the homeowner to grow flowers for the house.
The design has given the client confidence to develop her gardening skills and enjoy being part of how the garden changes and grows over time.
