a thoughtfully planned garden for year-round living

This garden was designed for a home in the South East, UK, creating a welcoming and practical outdoor space to enjoy every day. The layout balances strong structure with abundant planting to form a modern garden that is both beautiful and easy to live in.

A spacious dining terrace connects a covered pergola, offering sheltered seating for year-round entertaining. Generous borders filled with perennials and ornamental grasses provide movement, colour, and a soft backdrop to the contemporary hard landscaping. Feature planters and layer focal points guide the eye through the design, making the garden feel larger and immersive.

Delivered as a visual garden design package, the homeowners now have detailed plans to confidently build their dream garden in stages. The result will be a modern, uplifting space that supports outdoor living and evolves beautifully.
