About the project
a contemporary garden designed for calm, clarity and everyday use
This garden was designed to create a calm, elegant outdoor space defined by strong structure and softened through layered planting. Clear lines and carefully considered geometry form the framework of the design, creating a sense of order while allowing the planting to bring movement, texture and seasonal interest.
A series of connected terraces and pathways guide movement through the garden, establishing distinct areas for dining, relaxing and entertaining. Architectural elements, including feature planters and clean-lined paving, provide rhythm and cohesion, while subtle changes in level add depth and visual interest.
Planting was carefully chosen to complement the structured layout, with a mix of evergreen framework, shrubs and softer planting to create balance and year-round appeal. The result is a garden that feels composed yet welcoming, offering a serene setting that supports everyday living and matures beautifully over time.
